human or animal?

I know it is always best to help your child learn by asking them easy questions about things, like is the stove hot or cold? is the clouds up or down? is the car a person or an object? is the dog a person or an object? and this is probably why little D might get that question wrong....
cause obvoiusly our dogs are still in denial that they are canine and not human....
and yes, red is giving me the stink eye because I asked him for my pillow....MY PILLOW!!!!!
